Sample interview questions
I first assess each request by business impact, deadline, and dependencies, then clarify priorities directly when conflicts exist. I use a structured task tracker and calendar blocks to keep commitments visible, communicate realistic timelines early, and provide concise progress updates until each item is closed.
I protect time for strategic work, account for preparation and travel buffers, and confirm meeting objectives before accepting requests. I review the calendar daily and weekly, flag conflicts proactively, and ensure the executive has agendas, attendee context, and required materials in advance.
I would confirm the business objectives, meeting times, visa or document needs, travel preferences, and budget parameters first. I would then build an itinerary with time-zone conversions, transportation, accommodation, meeting locations, backup options, and emergency contact details, while monitoring changes throughout the trip.
I treat confidentiality as a core responsibility by using approved systems, limiting access to authorized stakeholders, verifying recipients before sending sensitive materials, and maintaining organized records. If I am uncertain about sharing information, I pause and seek guidance rather than making assumptions.
After a meeting, I document clear owners, deadlines, and next steps, then circulate a concise action summary for confirmation. I send respectful reminders before due dates, update the executive on status and blockers, and escalate only when a delay could affect an important decision or commitment.
