Sample interview questions
I start by segmenting partners based on strategic fit, seller engagement, and target-account overlap. I then create account maps, establish recurring pipeline reviews, enable sellers on relevant use cases, and track sourced and influenced opportunities in a shared reporting cadence. This turns broad partner relationships into measurable, repeatable pipeline creation.
I would first identify the partner’s priority customer segments and the specific business problems where Global Payroll, EOR, or contractor management add value. I would deliver focused enablement, provide concise positioning and qualification materials, and schedule account-mapping sessions to identify immediate opportunities. Consistent follow-up and visible early wins would build confidence and establish Remote as a natural part of their sales motion.
I use a mutual action plan that documents customer objectives, stakeholders, partner and internal ownership, decision milestones, and next actions. I hold a regular deal cadence for priority opportunities and make sure the appropriate sales, solutions consulting, and marketing resources are introduced at the right time. Clear accountability and CRM hygiene are essential to avoiding stalled deals.
I would measure active partner coverage, field stakeholder engagement, enablement participation, account maps completed, partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, opportunity conversion rates, deal velocity, and revenue contribution. I would also review the quality of opportunities and partner feedback to identify where enablement or process improvements are needed.
I would prioritize travel around high-value partner planning sessions, joint account reviews, strategic customer meetings, enablement events, and ecosystem conferences with clear pipeline potential. Each trip would have defined objectives, target meetings, and post-event follow-up plans. I would use virtual engagement for routine cadence activities while reserving travel for moments where in-person collaboration can accelerate relationships or opportunities.
