Sample interview questions
How would you turn a marketing brief into a motion asset for a social campaign?

I would first clarify the audience, objective, core message, platform, format, deadline, and brand requirements. I would then develop a concise storyboard or animatic, share it early for feedback, and move into production with planned review points before final exports.

How do you ensure that videos remain consistent with an established visual identity?

I use brand guidelines as a production reference for typography, color, spacing, logo treatment, tone, and transitions. I also review comparable approved work, build reusable project elements where appropriate, and conduct a final quality check before export.

Describe your workflow in After Effects and Premiere Pro for a short product video.

I would organize source footage and audio in Premiere Pro, build a rough narrative edit, then create titles, motion graphics, and visual treatments in After Effects. I would return rendered elements to Premiere, refine sound and pacing, confirm export specifications, and test the final file for quality.

What would you do if a creative brief was incomplete or unclear?

I would identify the missing decisions rather than making assumptions, such as target audience, key message, required deliverables, visual references, approval owner, and deadline. I would ask focused questions early and summarize the agreed direction before investing heavily in production.

How do you handle feedback that changes the direction of a creative project?

I treat feedback as information about the business need rather than as personal criticism. I confirm the intended outcome, distinguish essential changes from preferences, revise in a structured way, and communicate any impact on timing or scope clearly.

  • Someone who asks questions when a creative brief submitted by a colleague in the business has gaps.
  • Working English, written and spoken.

What the apprenticeship offers
