Sample interview questions
How do you prioritize competing calendar requests for multiple executives?

I start with the leaders' stated objectives, decision deadlines, customer or revenue impact, and required preparation time. I make trade-offs transparently, protect strategic focus time, and communicate alternatives quickly when a request cannot be accommodated.

Describe how you prepare an executive for a high-stakes board or investor meeting.

I create a concise briefing that states the meeting objective, attendees, relevant background, key metrics, anticipated questions, decisions required, and recommended talking points. I confirm logistics early and ensure follow-up owners and deadlines are captured immediately after the meeting.

What administrative workflows would you automate with AI?

I would prioritize repeatable work such as meeting briefs, inbox categorization, scheduling coordination, action-item extraction, recurring reporting, and travel itinerary drafting. I would keep human review for sensitive communications, final decisions, and any workflow involving confidential information.

Tell us about a time you handled confidential or sensitive information.

I use need-to-know access, secure systems, careful audience checks, and concise documentation. When requests are ambiguous, I verify authorization before sharing information and maintain a calm, professional response under pressure.

How do you ensure actions from meetings do not get lost?

I document decisions, owners, deadlines, and dependencies immediately, then circulate a clear action summary. I maintain a lightweight tracking system, follow up before deadlines, escalate blockers appropriately, and close the loop with the executive once outcomes are complete.
