Sample interview questions
I would outline the customer objective, stakeholders, technical constraints, commercial structure, and measurable outcome. I would emphasize how I created a mutual action plan, coordinated internal specialists, managed risk, and tied the expansion to the customer's strategic priorities.
I would review the customer's business model, payment flows, product roadmap, customer segments, and operational pain points. I would then map those findings to relevant embedded-finance use cases, validate technical and regulatory feasibility with specialists, and prioritize opportunities based on customer value, implementation readiness, and revenue potential.
I tailor the discussion to the audience while maintaining one consistent value narrative. For executives, I focus on strategic outcomes, economics, risk, and time to market; for technical teams, I explain integration models, data flows, controls, dependencies, and implementation trade-offs.
I establish decision criteria, stakeholder roles, and a negotiation plan early in the process. I use the documented business case to protect value, bring the right internal experts into discussions at the appropriate time, and maintain clear next steps so negotiations do not stall.
I base forecast calls on verified customer actions rather than optimism, including executive sponsorship, confirmed use case, technical validation, commercial alignment, procurement status, and a dated mutual plan. I regularly inspect deal risks, update close assumptions, and distinguish pipeline potential from commit-level opportunities.
