Sample interview questions
I would explain how I mapped the customer's strategic priorities and stakeholder landscape, uncovered a high-value use case, quantified the business impact, and created a mutual action plan. I would include the commercial structure, implementation coordination, results achieved, and lessons used to strengthen future account plans.
I tailor the discussion to each audience while maintaining one consistent value narrative. For executives, I focus on business outcomes, risk, economics, and time to market; for technical teams, I address integration patterns, dependencies, operating workflows, and implementation trade-offs.
I would study the customer's business model, payment flows, product roadmap, target markets, and operational friction points. I would then test hypotheses through stakeholder discovery, prioritize use cases by customer value and feasibility, and align the best opportunity to a multi-year account strategy.
I would describe establishing clear ownership, decision criteria, timelines, and escalation paths early in the process. By maintaining transparent communication and grounding trade-offs in customer value, commercial impact, and delivery feasibility, I would show how I drove alignment without direct authority.
I use defined qualification criteria, documented customer commitments, close-plan milestones, stakeholder mapping, and regular risk reviews. I distinguish customer interest from validated next steps, update probabilities when evidence changes, and surface dependencies early so leadership can act on real deal risk.
