Sample interview questions
I would first research the company's business model, strategic priorities, data maturity, and likely decision-makers across strategy, insights, finance, and commercial teams. I would map relevant stakeholders, develop role-specific messaging tied to likely business challenges, and sequence personalized calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches while tracking engagement and outcomes in the CRM.
I view rejection as information rather than failure. In a previous outreach effort, I tracked common objections, refined my messaging to address them earlier, and maintained a consistent follow-up cadence; this improved the quality of conversations and helped me stay motivated without taking individual outcomes personally.
I would confirm the prospect's role, company fit, relevant business need, urgency, decision process, and openness to a next conversation. I would document the discovery details, identify any stakeholders or technical requirements, and provide the Account Executive with a concise summary and recommended next step.
Effective outreach is concise, relevant, and based on a credible hypothesis about the recipient's priorities. I would avoid generic messages, reference a specific business context where appropriate, explain the potential value in clear terms, and make a low-friction request for a brief conversation.
I would share structured feedback on lead quality, common objections, conversion rates by source, and messaging that resonates with prospects. Together, we could test audience segments, nurture content, campaign messaging, and follow-up timing, then use CRM data to identify the changes that create more qualified opportunities.
