Sample interview questions
I map the full influence network early, establish mutual value with channel partners, and provide them with concise tools that make the solution easy to position. I maintain a joint account plan, define next steps and ownership, and ensure the employer’s business case remains central rather than treating the intermediary solely as a referral source.
I would outline the account strategy, stakeholder map, discovery process, value hypothesis, procurement path, and executive sponsorship plan. Strong execution includes maintaining deal hygiene, addressing objections with evidence, quantifying outcomes, and creating a mutual action plan that makes the path to signature explicit.
I would focus on the financial and employee outcomes: directing members to higher-performing care can improve quality while reducing avoidable costs. I would use the prospect’s population, benefits strategy, and current pain points to quantify the opportunity, then explain the clinical methodology at an appropriate level of detail.
I track qualified pipeline coverage, stage conversion, sales-cycle duration, forecast accuracy, win rate, partner-sourced pipeline, executive engagement, and next-step completion. I also inspect deal quality through defined exit criteria, because a large pipeline is not useful unless opportunities have a credible business problem, sponsor, process, and timeline.
I set clear priorities, make commitments visible, and use regular operating cadences to surface risks early. I welcome direct feedback, adjust quickly when evidence changes, and balance urgency with disciplined qualification so that effort stays focused on the highest-probability, highest-impact opportunities.
