Sample interview questions
I would segment my target accounts by priority, prepare brief research notes on key contacts and likely pain points, and use structured call and email blocks throughout the day. I would use approved messaging frameworks but tailor the opening, relevance statement, and follow-up to each prospect’s role, company, and market context. I would also log every activity promptly in the CRM so that follow-up is consistent and no opportunities are missed.
I view rejection as useful feedback rather than a personal setback. I would review whether the target, timing, channel, or message could be improved, ask for coaching where appropriate, and continue working my cadence with professionalism. Maintaining activity discipline and learning from patterns would help me stay productive over time.
I would first confirm that the person has relevant responsibility or influence, then explore their current situation, needs, timing, and potential fit with Unison’s offering. I would ask concise discovery questions to understand the asset, decision process, and level of interest. A qualified meeting should have a clear business reason, an appropriate stakeholder, and enough context for the Account Executive to prepare effectively.
I would track activity volume by channel, connection and reply rates, conversations created, meetings scheduled, meeting-show rates, qualified opportunities, and conversion rates between each stage. Looking at these metrics by segment and message would show where I need to improve. I would use the data alongside coaching feedback to test more effective outreach approaches.
I am interested in a market where commercial activity connects to long-term physical assets and evolving energy needs. Renewables and infrastructure require thoughtful research and relationship-building, which makes the prospecting work more meaningful than generic outreach. I would be motivated to develop sales fundamentals while learning a complex and growing market.
