Sample interview questions
I would begin by segmenting customers by maturity, industry, location footprint, and primary visibility gaps. I would create modular playbooks for listings, local pages, reporting, and issue escalation, supported by benchmarks, training sessions, and reusable QBR materials. I would then track adoption and customer outcomes to refine the program.
I synthesize platform changes, search-result trends, first-party performance data, and client examples into a concise narrative: what changed, why it matters, and what actions customers should take. I validate the narrative with internal experts and turn it into messaging, frameworks, and practical recommendations for each audience.
I would assess local ranking and visibility trends, listing completeness and accuracy, impressions, clicks, conversions, local-page engagement, review signals, and share of search where available. The reporting would connect these leading indicators to business outcomes and account for location-level variation rather than relying only on aggregate metrics.
I would diagnose the decline through technical, content, listings, competitive, and search-demand analysis, then prioritize the most likely causes and opportunities. I would present an evidence-based recovery plan with owners, milestones, expected indicators, and a clear communication cadence so the customer and CSM understand both the actions and the rationale.
I use a repeatable editorial process that starts with a prioritized insight backlog and clear audience objectives. Each piece should be grounded in credible data or customer patterns, reviewed for accuracy, and repurposed across webinars, blogs, videos, and enablement materials to maximize impact without sacrificing quality.
