Sample interview questions
I segment the territory by ideal customer profile, market potential, urgency, and likelihood to close. I create targeted outreach plans for priority accounts, maintain clear stage definitions in Salesforce, and review conversion metrics weekly to reallocate effort toward the highest-impact opportunities.
I begin with discovery to understand the customer’s operational challenges, goals, and decision criteria. During the demo, I connect relevant platform capabilities to those needs, validate value throughout the conversation, address concerns directly, and conclude with mutually agreed next steps.
I would first develop a detailed view of the Illinois cannabis market, including dispensary operating models, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations. I would then tailor outreach around measurable operational, e-commerce, payment, and customer-engagement outcomes that Dutchie can help improve.
In a previous role, I coordinated with implementation, product, and customer success teams during a complex sales cycle. I documented customer requirements early, aligned stakeholders on ownership and timing, and maintained transparent communication with the buyer, which reduced risk and supported a smooth launch.
I treat setbacks as data rather than personal failures. I review activity, messaging, qualification, and conversion trends to identify the specific issue, seek coaching where useful, test an improved approach, and maintain consistent prospecting discipline while rebuilding momentum.
