Sample interview questions
Describe a CRO experiment you executed from hypothesis through reporting.

I would explain the conversion problem, the supporting behavioral or funnel data, the hypothesis, and the test variants. I would then describe how I implemented and QAed tracking, monitored statistical and business KPIs, and documented the decision and follow-up experiment.

How do you QA a landing-page experiment before launch?

I use a structured checklist covering copy, layout, links, form behavior, responsive design, audience targeting, analytics events, pixels, naming conventions, and control-versus-variant assignment. I validate the experience across key devices and browsers, then confirm that reporting data is arriving correctly before full rollout.

How would you prioritize several optimization requests with competing KPIs?

I would assess expected impact, confidence, implementation effort, urgency, traffic volume, and strategic importance. I would make trade-offs visible to stakeholders, protect high-risk QA steps, and sequence smaller quick wins alongside larger tests to maintain momentum.

What metrics would you use to evaluate a lead-form funnel test?

I would track form-start rate, step-level abandonment, completion rate, qualified lead rate, downstream approval or revenue outcomes, and any advertiser-specific quality metric. I would also segment results by device, traffic source, audience, and user journey to identify where the effect is strongest.

How do you turn an inconclusive test result into a useful learning?

I first verify implementation, tracking integrity, sample size, and segmentation. Then I document what the test did and did not establish, identify behavioral signals or audience segments worth investigating, and propose a sharper follow-up hypothesis rather than treating the result as a failure.
