Sample interview questions
I would evaluate requests against customer impact, revenue or margin potential, strategic alignment, scalability, delivery effort, and operational risk. I would make trade-offs visible through a prioritized roadmap and validate decisions with data and stakeholder input.
I would establish a baseline and track activation rate, implementation time, completion rate, support volume, adoption of key capabilities, customer satisfaction, and retention or expansion signals. The metrics would combine customer outcomes with operational efficiency and commercial impact.
I identify the key assumptions and decisions that cannot wait, gather the highest-value evidence quickly, and make a reversible decision where possible. I communicate uncertainty clearly, define learning milestones, and update the plan as new information becomes available.
I would align on the customer problem, end-to-end journey, ownership boundaries, service requirements, API contracts, data flows, reliability expectations, and success metrics. I would also ensure dependencies, risks, and rollout plans are visible to all affected teams.
I would frame the decision around the business objective, customer evidence, expected financial and operational impact, delivery cost, and risks of each option. I would recommend a path, explain what we are not doing and why, and identify milestones that could trigger a reassessment.

This role is open to U.S. candidates only. This role can be fully remote with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco, Chicago, or Boston, or a hybrid of remote/in-person if based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
What You Will Do:
- Own products and workstreams within B2B Customer Solutions, from development through launch and ongoing iteration, with increasing independence. Lead an engineering squad through execution and manage stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Legal, Finance, and external partners. Manage the Commercial Solutions B2B product portfolio, keeping deliverables on track, and clearly communicating status and risks.
- Develop the product strategy for your area, taking inputs from company objectives, the Commerce team, and your internal and external customers. Formulate informed opinions on our direction and strategy.
- Ensure operational excellence across multiple active projects, setting standards, dashboards, and processes that keep teams aligned, unblocked, and accountable for outcomes. Set goals, identify metrics, implement instrumentation.
- Be the voice of the customer, working directly with B2B customers as well as internal Sales, BD, enablement, marketing, and operations teams to deeply understand customer problems.
- Be the resident expert for our solutions. Teach sales, enablement, and marketing about our solutions, known gaps, and our roadmap.
- Partner with platform and core product teams (e.g., Commerce Platform, Payments, Member Experience, Enterprise Platform) to define shared services, clarify ownership, and deliver end‑to‑end experiences that work for both members and customers.
- Influence peers across Product, Commercial, and Operations to align on priorities, resourcing, and tradeoffs, advocating for Commercial Solutions as a growth engine for the business.
- Tell the story of B2B growth, its place within the company’s strategy, and what our customers need and expect from Oura.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager, ideally with significant time spent in B2B/enterprise, SaaS, commerce, or health tech environments, with clear evidence of owning complex, revenue‑impacting products or platforms. Experience working directly with ERP systems and analytics platforms a plus.
- Demonstrated executional experience on cross‑functional initiatives that span multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders, with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and comfort working with commercial leaders; you can help prioritize efforts based on factors such as revenue impact, margin, scalability, operational efficiency, and strategic fit.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, where data may be incomplete or changing, while still driving clarity, focus, and high‑quality decisions.
- Proven ability to contribute to product vision and strategy, translate it into coherent roadmaps, and adjust plans as you learn.
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with experience presenting to and aligning diverse stakeholders around complex topics. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Enough technical fluency to be “dangerous” — you can reason about systems, APIs, and data flows, and you collaborate effectively with engineering, even if you don’t write production code.
- Experience working across different levels of scale, understanding that tools, processes, and product approaches must evolve as the company grows.
- A high degree of ownership, proactivity, and integrity — you seek out context, ask sharp questions, and drive clarity without waiting to be told what to do.
- Humor, grace, and patience to build on Oura’s core values in a fast paced, high growth environment.
