Sample interview questions
I would begin with practice-user research, operational pain points, business objectives, and platform constraints. I would translate these into outcome-based themes, sequence foundational reliability and compliance work before dependent growth features, and review the roadmap regularly using customer, operational, and financial metrics.
I would define the user problem and expected business outcome, then assess API capabilities, data flows, security, compliance, failure modes, implementation effort, and vendor reliability. I would align stakeholders on success metrics and launch through a phased rollout with monitoring and clear support processes.
I involve legal, finance, operations, engineering, and representative users early to clarify non-negotiable constraints. I then seek the simplest transparent workflow that meets those requirements, validate it with users, and measure completion, error, support, and satisfaction outcomes after launch.
I would examine funnel conversion, task completion, error events, support contacts, and qualitative feedback to locate the highest-impact friction point. After forming a hypothesis, I would test an improved flow, compare results against a baseline, and iterate based on both customer and operational outcomes.
I would make trade-offs explicit through a shared prioritization framework tied to customer impact, strategic alignment, risk, effort, and expected value. I would communicate decisions clearly, document what is deferred and why, and revisit priorities as evidence or business conditions change.
