Sample interview questions
I would start by assessing the team's workflow, equipment readiness, roles, and clinical goals. I would demonstrate the core workflow, provide guided hands-on practice, observe live use, and give role-specific coaching. Before leaving, I would confirm a clear plan for the first case submissions and follow-up support.
During a training session, I noticed that staff confidence and workflow readiness differed significantly from the planned agenda. I simplified the initial workflow, separated coaching by role, and used short practice cycles with immediate feedback. This helped the team build confidence and complete the intended adoption milestone.
I establish specific behavioral and case-submission goals during the visit, identify likely blockers, and ensure the practice knows where to get support. I then review early activity and follow up with targeted coaching based on observed gaps. This keeps momentum high during the critical first 30 days.
I would first understand the clinical, operational, or financial concern behind the resistance. Then I would connect the workflow to that clinician's priorities, demonstrate practical value through relevant use cases, and create a low-risk path to trying it. Respectful listening and evidence-based coaching are essential to building trust.
I use disciplined scheduling, pre-visit readiness checks, standardized preparation materials, and clear follow-up plans. I prioritize preparation so onsite time focuses on coaching rather than resolving preventable logistics issues. I also document field insights consistently to improve future trainings and coordinate effectively with internal partners.
