Sample interview questions
I would explain how I identified the partner based on audience fit and incremental revenue potential, built a value proposition using performance data, negotiated commercial terms, and measured results against agreed KPIs. I would also share the adjustments made after launch to improve return on investment.
I prioritize partners using a structured assessment of incremental revenue potential, audience quality, conversion performance, strategic fit, cost efficiency, and relationship maturity. I revisit those assumptions regularly through reporting and reallocate investment when the evidence changes.
I would begin with the client's objective and explain the customer or market insight behind the opportunity. I would present expected value, required investment, risks, measurement criteria, and a practical pilot plan so the client can make a confident, evidence-based decision.
I use revenue, conversions, conversion rate, average order value, effective CPA, return on ad spend or ROI, new-customer contribution, incrementality, and partner engagement metrics. The final scorecard should connect partner-level activity to the client's specific business goals.
I clarify the partner's priorities, use performance data to identify mutually valuable alternatives, and propose test structures or tiered incentives tied to outcomes. If the economics remain unsustainable, I communicate the rationale clearly and preserve the relationship for future opportunities.

You’ve established yourself as a trusted strategic advisor to clients and built strong relationships with key partners across the affiliate ecosystem. You possess a deep understanding of client objectives, growth opportunities, and emerging partner models, allowing you to proactively shape recruitment and partnership strategies rather than simply execute against them. You consistently identify, evaluate, and activate high-impact partnership opportunities that drive measurable revenue and incremental growth. Your insights and market expertise help clients stay ahead of industry trends, and you are regularly sought out for recommendations on how to evolve their partnership mix and growth strategy.
