This role is a strong fit for a curious, collaborative product marketer who is comfortable learning complex technology, engaging directly with customers and internal experts, and turning insight into high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product marketing plans for assigned solutions, defining priority buyers, use cases, market requirements, growth opportunities, and measures of success.

• Build a deep understanding of customers, buyers, competitors, and market trends through research, customer conversations, win-loss analysis, and partnership with Sales and Customer Success.

• Partner with Product throughout the product development lifecycle, bringing customer and market insight into product decisions and supporting validation, launch readiness, and adoption.

• Develop differentiated positioning and messaging that translates technical capabilities into clear business value, connects our solutions to the Keyfactor Trust Control Plane, and informs high-quality content for buyers and the field.

• Independently plan and execute go-to-market launches for new products, capabilities, and offers, coordinating deliverables, cross-functional stakeholders, field readiness, and post-launch follow-through.

• Create sales tools and deliver enablement that help Sales and Partners lead outcome-based conversations, differentiate Keyfactor, and navigate complex enterprise buying processes.

• Partner with Revenue Marketing and Customer Marketing to support acquisition, cross-sell, adoption, and expansion programs with the right audiences, messages, and proof points.

• Track launch performance, pipeline, adoption, content utilization, and competitive outcomes, using the results to recommend improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, preferably for enterprise, technical, or multi-product solutions.

• Experience conducting customer, buyer, market, and competitive research and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and relevant to both technical practitioners and business decisionmakers.

• Hands-on experience across core product marketing disciplines, including positioning and messaging, product launches, sales enablement, content development, and cross-functional project leadership.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional contributors, and deliver high-quality work on time.

• Analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to use performance data, customer feedback, and market evidence to evaluate results and improve execution.

• Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to build strong relationships across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

• Experience in cybersecurity, identity, cryptography, cloud infrastructure, or another technical enterprise software category is an advantage.

Sample interview questions
How would you develop positioning for a technically complex cybersecurity product?

I would begin with customer interviews, win-loss findings, product knowledge, and competitive research to identify high-priority buyer problems. I would then create a concise value proposition, differentiated proof points, and role-specific messages, validating them with product, sales, and customer-facing teams before using them across launch and enablement materials.

Describe how you would plan a go-to-market launch for a new capability.

I would define the target audience, customer problem, business objective, success metrics, core narrative, and launch tier first. Then I would build a cross-functional plan covering product readiness, messaging, content, sales training, demand generation, customer communications, and post-launch measurement.

What metrics would you use to evaluate product marketing effectiveness?

I would connect metrics to the objective, tracking field readiness and content use for enablement, engagement and conversion for campaigns, and pipeline, win rate, adoption, expansion, and competitive outcomes for business impact. I would review qualitative customer and sales feedback alongside quantitative results to identify improvements.

How do you make technical concepts understandable for both practitioners and business decision-makers?

I tailor the message to the audience while keeping the underlying proof consistent. For practitioners, I focus on architecture, workflows, and operational outcomes; for executives, I connect those capabilities to risk reduction, business resilience, efficiency, and strategic value.

How would you handle conflicting priorities from Product, Sales, and Marketing during a launch?

I would make the trade-offs visible by aligning stakeholders on the customer impact, launch goals, dependencies, and deadline. I would prioritize work that is essential to a credible customer experience and field readiness, document decisions, and communicate a clear ownership and escalation plan.
