I am a dedicated, resourceful, self-motivated, and enthusiastic educator with a proven ability to develop rapport with students and foster their learning by utilizing interesting paradigms. I possess strong communication skills and problem-solving techniques to cater to individual needs. I am flexible and adapt quickly to new concepts, challenges, and changing environments. Educated in Hong Kong and Canada, I have wide exposure to Eastern and Western cultures and lifestyles.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively as an English tutor and materials developer, designing and editing educational content to enhance students’ proficiency and engagement. I have experience conducting lessons in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and creative writing, catering to both primary and secondary school students.

I have also worked as a freelance English translator, translating Chinese newsletters into English, and have developed computer games and worksheets to support vocabulary building and language skills. My teaching experience includes roles as a class teacher, coordinator, and advisor, where I have trained students for speech festivals and led extracurricular activities such as school orchestras and leadership programs.

I am proficient in using various IT tools including Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, basic Python, and video editing software, which I integrate into my teaching and materials development. I hold several professional qualifications, including a World Certification Master by AHQSE and certifications approved by the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

My passion lies in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment that supports students’ academic growth and personal development. I am committed to continuous professional development and leveraging innovative approaches to education.
