I am Abigail Shouse, a passionate and creative individual with a strong background in media production and broadcasting. I have developed proficiency in public speaking, camera mechanics, editing software, scriptwriting, and audio technology. My experience spans various roles including sports broadcasting, production management, and leadership positions within SkillsUSA. I am highly motivated and quick-witted, always eager to take on new challenges and contribute effectively to any team.
Currently, I am a student involved in mass media production, where I serve as the Production Manager and Director of the project “Breaking News: Unhinged.” I have also competed in the “Film Prize Junior” competition in 2025, showcasing my dedication to honing my craft. My previous experience includes working as a shadow/camera operator for Noal Mark Radio and designing business cards, which highlights my versatility and creative skills.
In addition to my media-related work, I have been actively involved in volunteer activities such as leading a children’s church small group and participating in skit crews. My leadership skills are further demonstrated through my roles as a SkillsUSA Officer and State Vice President, where I oversee meetings and ensure adherence to parliamentary procedures.
Throughout my academic career at Lovington High School, I have maintained a strong GPA of 3.9 and earned numerous awards including SkillsUSA State Gold and Silver Medals, English Expo State Champion, and recognition in basketball and science fairs. I am committed to continuous learning and growth in the field of media and broadcasting.
