Founded the company to develop algorithmic trading strategies. Used Python, pandas, and Jupyter Labs to analyze data and create strategies for backtesting and trading. Integrated with Databento and licensed access to Nasdaq TotalView order book data in real time. Wrote analysis and trading algorithms in Rust.

Built and maintained a public Payment Sessions API using Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB. Designed an extensible plugin architecture for mobile payments such as M-Pesa and USSD. Co-designed and launched a Bill Presentment & Checkout Platform across multiple countries. Built the frontend in Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Added metrics, Grafana dashboards, and alerts for customer-facing APIs. Created SOPs and training materials for Customer Success.

Led design and implementation of a real-time data pipeline into BigQuery. Migrated reporting workloads to the data warehouse, reducing report generation time and infrastructure costs. Collaborated with Customer Success to move clients to API-driven access. Led client integration with the Shaqodoon SMS Gateway. Migrated secret management to Google Cloud Secrets and helped migrate APIs from Python to Go.

Migrated identity and authentication systems to Firebase Authentication. Improved Firebase and cloud integration pipelines for real-time upload progress and event-driven reporting. Extended IVR integration with Africa’s Talking. Improved the layout and design of the survey building platform to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
