Key Skills

Salesforce Apex Lightning Web Components Flow REST APIs SOAP APIs Platform Events CI/CD Agile Bulkification

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Salesforce Technical Developer position at Bright Vision Technologies. With over 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions, I am confident in my ability to contribute to your team's success.

In my previous role, I developed Apex triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components that improved business process efficiency by 30%. I also integrated Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring data consistency and security. My experience with CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX and Copado aligns well with your requirement for production-grade development.

I am particularly drawn to Bright Vision Technologies' commitment to innovation and long-term growth. I am eager to bring my technical expertise and problem-solving mindset to your in-house SOW engagement.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to discussing how I can add value to your team.

Explain how you handle governor limits when writing Apex code, particularly in triggers and batch jobs.
I ensure best practices like bulkification by processing records in collections, using SOQL for loops, and avoiding queries inside loops. For batch jobs, I implement Database.Batchable and use QueryLocator to handle large data volumes. I also design triggers to be stateless and use Trigger Handlers to manage logic.
Describe your experience with Lightning Web Components and how you ensure performance.
I have built several LWCs for custom record pages and dashboards, using wire adapters to fetch data efficiently and minimizing wire calls. I leverage lightning/ui*Api for data access and use caching where appropriate. I also avoid deep component nesting and use track and api decorators judiciously.
How do you approach debugging and resolving production issues in Salesforce?
I start by analyzing debug logs and error messages, then replicate the issue in a sandbox. I use the Developer Console and check for governor limit violations. For integration issues, I review REST callout logs and use tools like Workbench. I also collaborate with the team to implement hotfixes and deploy via CI/CD.
Can you walk us through a complex integration you have done with Salesforce?
I recently integrated Salesforce with an external ERP using REST APIs and Platform Events. I created custom endpoints in Apex for inbound calls and used Named Credentials for authentication. For real-time sync, I published Platform Events from the ERP and subscribed via triggers. I also handled error logging and retry logic.
How do you ensure code quality and maintainability in your development process?
I write comprehensive Apex unit tests with at least 90% coverage and include negative tests. I follow coding standards like using meaningful variable names and comments. I participate in code reviews and use tools like PMD. For CI/CD, I use Salesforce DX and Gearset to automate deployments and run tests.

Bright Vision Technologies is a forward-thinking software development company dedicated to building innovative solutions that help businesses automate and optimize their operations. We leverage cutting-edge technologies to create scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications.

  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled jobs that respect governor limits and bulkification principles.
  • Build Lightning Web Components for rich, performant user experiences embedded across Salesforce surfaces.
  • Design and implement automation using Flow, Process Builder migration, and declarative-first patterns.
  • Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Salesforce Connect.
  • Implement complex data models including custom objects, relationships, formula fields, and validation rules.
  • Build and maintain sharing models, profiles, permission sets, and row-level security configurations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Apex unit tests with meaningful coverage and assertions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to development standards, and document technical decisions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues including governor-limit errors, integration failures, and data anomalies.
  • Collaborate with admins, architects, and product owners to refine requirements.
  • Optimize performance for large-data-volume scenarios, including selective queries and async patterns.
  • Support upgrades, releases, and refactoring of legacy implementations toward modern patterns.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, Einstein/Agentforce features, and platform innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and platform limits.
  • Strong proficiency in Lightning Web Components and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Flow and declarative automation.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and sharing.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and modern source-driven development.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
