Salesforce Technical Architecture Apex Lightning Web Components Integration MuleSoft DevOps Data Modeling Sales Cloud Service Cloud

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Salesforce Technical Architect position at Bright Vision Technologies. With over 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud, I am confident in my ability to drive technical strategy and governance for your team.

In my previous role, I led the architecture of a multi-org Salesforce environment, establishing standards for declarative and programmatic implementations, integrating with MuleSoft, and optimizing performance. I have a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions while managing governor limits and ensuring security.

I am particularly drawn to Bright Vision Technologies' commitment to innovation and growth. I am eager to contribute to your SOW engagement and help transform business processes through cutting-edge technology. Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Describe your experience designing a multi-org Salesforce architecture. What factors influence the decision to use single vs. multiple orgs?
In a previous role, I designed a multi-org environment for a global company to segregate data by region. Factors include data residency, security requirements, business unit autonomy, and integration complexity. Multi-org provides isolation but increases integration overhead; single-org simplifies but risks governance challenges.
How do you decide between declarative (Flow, Process Builder) and programmatic (Apex) solutions for a given requirement?
I prefer declarative for simpler logic with maintainability benefits, as it reduces code complexity and is easier to audit. For complex business rules, large data volumes, or performance-critical processes, Apex is necessary. I consider long-term maintenance, performance, and the skill level of the support team.
Explain your approach to designing a scalable integration between Salesforce and an external ERP using MuleSoft.
I design with asynchronous patterns using platform events or queueable Apex to handle loads. Define a canonical data model, use MuleSoft for orchestration and transformation, and implement error handling with retry logic. Ensure security via OAuth and monitor with logging. Use batch processing for large data volumes.
How do you manage governor limits in a complex Apex trigger that processes records from multiple objects?
I optimize by bulkifying triggers, using collections, and minimizing SOQL/DML calls. Implement lazy loading and caching, and use batchable or queueable classes for non-critical async processing. For high-volume scenarios, consider using Platform Events or CDC to decouple processing.
What is your strategy for implementing a DevOps pipeline for Salesforce using Copado or Gearset?
I establish a source control strategy with Git and unlock metadata using Salesforce DX. Use Copado for CI/CD with automated testing and deployment gates. Include scratch orgs for feature development, and enforce code review and validation before promotion to production. Monitor with change sets or API-based deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Salesforce technical architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, and Industry Cloud implementations.
  • Lead solution design, technical review boards, and governance for major Salesforce initiatives.
  • Establish standards for declarative versus programmatic implementation, including Flow, Apex, LWC, and integration patterns.
  • Architect data models, sharing models, and large-data-volume strategies across complex orgs.
  • Design integration architectures using MuleSoft, Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Composite APIs.
  • Lead org strategy decisions including single-org vs. multi-org, sandbox strategy, and DevOps pipelines.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex CRM requirements into pragmatic Salesforce solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over time.
  • Produce high-quality architecture artifacts — context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs — that capture key technical decisions clearly enough to be understood months or years later.
  • Coordinate with security, compliance, and audit teams to ensure proper controls.
  • Stay current with Salesforce roadmap, Einstein/AI features, and platform innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Eight or more years of Salesforce experience, with significant time in architecture or technical leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing model, and platform limits.

  • Experience designing security models at enterprise scale.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and modern DevOps tooling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credentials.
