Overview

This is a part-time, Monday- Friday, hourly position (approximately 24-32 hours a week). Hourly rate $19.00/hour.

 

About the Role:

As a core member of our Customer Service team, you will be expected to:

  • Handle incoming calls from customers to take product orders
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers and Sales Representatives
  • Enter and adjust orders in our computer system
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell products and services, and explain new offerings
  • Respond to requests for promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate customer account information
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the complaint; determining the cause, and explaining the best resolution
  • Follow up to ensure satisfaction and resolution
  • Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the above responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or GED 
  • Prior work experience in a customer service position is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Excellent written communications skills, with the ability to compose professional emails and letters using proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment during initial training period
  • Employer is open to a hybrid to fully remote role after successful completion of training period and demonstration of job proficiency
  • Department office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While part-time schedules may vary, all work hours are performed within this window, allowing employees to maintain evenings and weekends for personal and family commitments.
