My expertise in change impact assessments, readiness planning, and adoption measurement aligns with the responsibilities of this position, and I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to partner with business leaders and Learning & Development teams.

Sample interview questions
Describe your experience leading change enablement for a large-scale technology or process implementation.

I led change management for a company-wide ERP rollout, conducting impact assessments, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and developing tailored communication and training plans. I tracked adoption metrics and adjusted strategies to achieve a 90% user adoption rate within three months of go-live.

How do you assess organizational readiness and measure adoption?

I use a combination of surveys, focus groups, and readiness assessment tools to gauge awareness, attitude, and capability. Key metrics include user engagement, utilization rates, proficiency assessments, and feedback from frontline supervisors, which I analyze to identify gaps and adjust the change plan.

How do you partner with Learning & Development teams to support change adoption?

I collaborate early to identify capability gaps and define learning objectives. I share the change impact data and user personas with L&D, and we co-create a learning strategy that addresses specific needs. I also coordinate timing and reinforcement activities to ensure learning is delivered just-in-time for the change.

Tell me about a time you influenced senior stakeholders with competing priorities.

In a previous role, two executives had conflicting priorities for a process change. I organized a working session with both, using data to show the impact of each option on adoption and business outcomes. By facilitating a collaborative discussion, we reached a consensus on a phased approach that satisfied both parties.

How do you handle resistance to change?

I start by understanding the root cause of resistance, whether it's fear, lack of awareness, or mistrust. I engage directly with resistors, listen to their concerns, and involve them in co-creating solutions. Active sponsorship, transparent communication, and visible quick wins are also key to turning resistance into support.
