Dear Hiring Team,

I am excited to apply for the Commercial Partnerships & Operations Director role at Counterpart Health. My background in healthcare strategy, cross-functional program execution, and external partnership management aligns closely with your need for an operator who can translate commercial priorities into accountable, measurable plans.

I bring experience building executive-ready analyses, dashboards, and decision materials while coordinating complex work across product, clinical, operational, legal, and commercial stakeholders. I am particularly motivated by Counterpart Health's work advancing value-based care and supporting earlier diagnosis and longitudinal chronic-condition management.

I would welcome the opportunity to help strengthen partnership performance, execution discipline, and scalable operating processes across the Commercial Innovations & Partnerships organization.

Sincerely,
Applicant

Sample interview questions
Describe a complex cross-functional initiative you led from planning through delivery.

I would explain the business objective, stakeholder groups, governance model, milestones, dependencies, and risk register I established. I would highlight how I used regular decision forums and transparent reporting to resolve issues quickly, then quantify the delivered outcome and lessons incorporated into future operating processes.

How would you establish governance for a strategic external partnership?

I would begin by aligning both parties on objectives, success metrics, decision rights, executive sponsors, operating cadence, and escalation paths. I would document these in a partnership plan and use a shared scorecard to track commitments, risks, dependencies, and value realization throughout the relationship lifecycle.

How do you convert ambiguous commercial priorities into an actionable execution plan?

I clarify the intended outcome, scope, constraints, and decision owner first. From there, I break the work into workstreams with accountable owners, milestones, metrics, dependencies, and risks, then maintain a concise operating dashboard that helps leadership make timely tradeoff decisions.

What healthcare considerations would shape your approach to a Medicare Advantage or value-based-care initiative?

I would connect the initiative to clinical outcomes, total cost of care, provider workflow, quality measures, and payer-provider incentives. I would also involve clinical, operational, legal, and product stakeholders early to ensure the approach is operationally viable, compliant, and measurable.

How do you create executive communications that drive decisions?

I start with the decision required and present the recommendation upfront, followed by the relevant evidence, tradeoffs, risks, and alternatives. I keep materials concise, use clear visuals and metrics, and ensure every discussion closes with owners, next steps, and timing.
