Sample interview questions
How do you turn a creative strategy into assets that perform across multiple paid channels?

I begin by identifying the audience, campaign objective, core message, and platform-specific constraints. I establish a flexible visual direction, create prioritized concepts, and build channel-native variations while preserving the brand and message hierarchy. After launch, I use performance feedback to guide the next set of iterations.

Describe your workflow for producing motion and static creative at scale.

I create organized source files, reusable templates, component libraries, and clear naming conventions from the outset. I design master concepts first, then adapt them by placement, duration, aspect ratio, and audience need. This approach supports fast versioning without sacrificing quality control or consistency.

How do you ensure creative meets platform specifications and remains visually effective?

I maintain up-to-date reference documentation for each platform and review deliverables against technical requirements before handoff. I also assess safe areas, legibility, pacing, visual hierarchy, file size, and sound-off viewing conditions. A final QA pass verifies that the exported asset matches both the brief and the intended placement.

Tell us about a time you incorporated difficult stakeholder feedback into a creative project.

I first clarify the underlying goal behind the feedback rather than reacting only to the requested change. I then propose options that address the concern while protecting the strongest elements of the concept, explaining tradeoffs clearly. This keeps the discussion productive and results in work that stakeholders can confidently approve.

How would you use testing results to improve a paid social creative campaign?

I would review performance patterns by concept, hook, format, audience, and placement to identify what is driving attention or conversion. I would turn those findings into focused hypotheses, such as testing a stronger opening frame, revised messaging hierarchy, or alternate product demonstration. Each next-round variation would isolate meaningful changes so the team can learn quickly and scale successful creative directions.
