Sample interview questions
How do you approach reviewing a complex implant case with a clinician in real time?

I first confirm the prescription, implant system, scan body, opposing dentition, and clinical objective. I then review the scan quality and proposed design, explain any risks or limitations in clear clinical language, and agree on specific next steps with the clinician before documenting the outcome.

Describe your experience using 3Shape for crown-and-bridge and implant design.

I have used 3Shape workflows to assess scans, establish margins and insertion paths, design crowns and bridges, and manage implant-related components. I focus on following validated design standards while escalating cases when scan quality, component compatibility, or clinical requirements create uncertainty.

What would you do if a doctor is frustrated because a digital case is delayed or requires additional information?

I would acknowledge the impact on the doctor and patient, explain the issue concisely, and identify the fastest actionable resolution. I would remain empathetic, avoid unnecessary jargon, set a realistic expectation for the next update, and coordinate internally to prevent further delay.

How do you manage multiple live chat, phone, and video support requests at once?

I triage requests by clinical urgency, patient impact, and whether the case is blocking production. I keep concise notes, communicate expected response times, resolve straightforward workflow questions promptly, and escalate high-risk or highly technical issues through the appropriate channel.

How do you translate clinician feedback into useful instructions for a lab production team?

I convert the feedback into specific, measurable design or production requirements, such as margin adjustments, occlusal changes, emergence profile expectations, or aesthetic priorities. I confirm ambiguous details with the clinician and provide the lab team with complete context so the requested outcome is clear and traceable.
