Sample interview questions
How would you approach building a pipeline of net-new MSP opportunities in the Nordics?

I would segment the market by MSP profile, customer base, security maturity, and strategic fit, then build targeted outreach using relevant cybersecurity pain points. I would combine account research, partner ecosystem signals, referrals, events, and disciplined multichannel outreach, tracking conversion data to refine the approach.

Describe how you run a value-based discovery conversation with a prospective partner.

I begin by understanding the partner's business model, customer responsibilities, current security workflow, operational constraints, and growth goals. I use open questions to quantify the impact of current risks, confirm stakeholders and decision criteria, and then connect the solution to outcomes that matter to the partner and its clients.

How do you maintain accurate forecasts in a fast-moving sales environment?

I keep CRM records current after each meaningful interaction, validate close dates against mutual action plans, and assess opportunities using clear stage-exit criteria. I separate committed deals from upside, document risks early, and communicate changes promptly so leadership can rely on the forecast.

How would you collaborate with Sales Engineering during a complex cybersecurity sales cycle?

I would align with the Sales Engineer before customer meetings on desired outcomes, technical context, stakeholder roles, and next steps. During the cycle, I would lead commercial discovery and process management while enabling the Sales Engineer to demonstrate technical credibility, then translate findings into a business case and mutual plan.

What safeguards would you use when applying AI tools to prospecting and meeting preparation?

I would use AI to accelerate research, summarize public information, draft outreach, and prepare questions, but I would verify accuracy before sharing any output. I would avoid entering confidential customer or company information into unapproved tools and ensure messaging remains personalized, factual, and compliant with privacy expectations.
