About this role.
Worldly seeks a hands-on Growth Marketer for a six-month independent contractor engagement supporting B2B SaaS demand generation and account-based marketing. The role owns campaign execution across HubSpot, paid media, landing pages, email, reporting, and marketing-to-sales handoffs. It also includes building an answer engine optimization (AEO) measurement program and improving Worldly’s visibility in AI-powered search and answer tools. Success depends on independently launching, testing, measuring, and scaling campaigns that demonstrate pipeline impact. The contractor must be US-based, work roughly 40 hours per week, and overlap with both US and APAC business hours.

Sample interview questions
I would outline the target audience, campaign hypothesis, channel mix, assets and workflows I built, QA process, key conversion metrics, pipeline contribution, and the optimization decisions made after reviewing results.
I would report spend, reach, engagement, conversion rates, lead quality, MQL-to-SQL progression, sourced or influenced pipeline, and key learnings. I would close with clear recommendations to scale, revise, or stop specific programs and explain the rationale in business terms.
I would describe setting lifecycle stages, lead-scoring criteria, routing and notification workflows, SLA reporting, and feedback loops with sales. The goal is to ensure qualified leads are actionable, consistently defined, and measured through downstream outcomes.
I would define priority buyer questions and competitor benchmarks, then track citation frequency, share of voice, factual accuracy, sentiment, and source URLs across relevant AI answer engines. I would review trends monthly and translate findings into content, schema, technical SEO, and authority-building priorities.
I set success criteria before launch, including acceptable cost, conversion, lead-quality, and pipeline thresholds. After collecting sufficient data, I compare results against the baseline and alternative uses of budget, then scale repeatable positive-return programs while documenting and retiring underperforming tests.

About The Role
Worldly is hiring a contractor to execute our growth marketing campaigns and report on how they perform. This is a hands-on execution role embedded in our marketing team. You take campaigns from brief to launch to results readout: you build the emails and HubSpot workflows, launch the LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns, set up the landing pages, QA everything, and pull the reports that tell us what worked.
You will also own answer engine optimization (AEO). Our buyers now do a lot of their research in tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, and we want to know how Worldly shows up in those answers. You will measure it, track it over time, and run the plan to improve how often and how accurately we get cited.
This is a position for one person working with the marketing team. It is not a project for an agency or a consultancy, and it is not a fractional gig you fit in around other clients. If you would be subcontracting the work or bringing a team, this is not the right fit.
What You’ll Do
Campaign execution
Execute campaigns end-to-end across paid, email, organic, events support, and content syndication, aimed at high-value accounts and buying committees in the consumer goods sector.
Do the hands-on work yourself: configure HubSpot workflows, launch and manage LinkedIn and Google Ads campaigns, build landing pages, and QA every asset before it goes live.
Support account-based marketing (ABM) programs (1:many and 1:few) with our Growth (sales) team, targeting the decision-makers at the accounts sales cares about most.
Run a test-and-learn motion: launch small, measure, retire what is not working, and scale what is. Experiments need to show positive returns to earn a larger budget.
Campaign reporting and performance
Own campaign reporting and dashboards in HubSpot and Google Analytics, including attribution, lead quality, and pipeline contribution across the funnel (Lead, MQL, SAL, SQL).
Deliver a weekly performance readout to marketing and sales. Tell us plainly what is working, what is not, and where you would recommend we move the budget.
Keep campaign workflows and reporting infrastructure clean and reliable, with a clear marketing-to-sales handoff and feedback loop.
AEO: measure, track, and improve
Measure and track Worldly’s visibility in AI answer engines: how often we get cited, our share of voice against competitors, and how accurately Worldly (and the Higg Index, available through Worldly) is described.
Build and maintain an AEO scorecard, reported monthly, so we can see whether we are gaining or losing ground.
Develop and execute AEO improvement plans: content recommendations, page structure and schema changes, whatever makes Worldly content easier for AI engines to find and cite. You work with our content and web owners to actually ship the fixes.
We’d Like to See
6+ years of hands-on B2B SaaS marketing execution, including demand generation and ABM campaigns you personally built, launched, and reported on.
Expertise in our stack: HubSpot (workflows, email, reporting), WordPress (website), LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. ABM platform experience (ZoomInfo) a plus.
Working knowledge of AEO/GEO: you have measured how brands show up in AI answer engines and improved it, or you are an experienced SEO practitioner who has extended into AI search and can show results.
Strong analytical and reporting habits. You are comfortable with pipeline metrics and attribution, and you can explain results to sales and marketing leaders without a glossary.
You have worked closely with sales teams before and delivered leads they actually wanted.
Fluent with AI tools and genuinely excited to experiment with them. You already use AI daily in your own marketing work.
Available full-time (roughly 40 hours per week) with overlap across U.S. and APAC business hours, based in the U.S., and able to work as an independent contractor.
