Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining shared business outcomes, user segments, technical dependencies, and governance constraints. I would score opportunities using expected impact, confidence, effort, risk, and strategic alignment, then sequence initiatives around platform dependencies and measurable quarterly outcomes. A transparent intake and prioritization process would help stakeholders understand why work is accepted, deferred, or declined.
I would start with a constrained, high-value use case and define success metrics such as task completion rate, accuracy, cycle-time reduction, escalation rate, user satisfaction, and financial impact. I would partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance to establish data-access boundaries, human-review requirements, logging, and failure handling. After piloting with a representative user group, I would use results and qualitative feedback to refine the workflow before broader rollout.
I clarify the underlying user problem, desired outcome, baseline process, constraints, and decision owners before proposing a solution. I then document user journeys, acceptance criteria, data requirements, integrations, edge cases, and measurable success criteria. This gives engineering and Salesforce administrators enough clarity to estimate and deliver while preserving room for technical discovery.
The metric set depends on the use case, but I typically combine adoption metrics, operational efficiency measures, quality or accuracy indicators, customer or employee satisfaction, and downstream business impact. For example, an AI service workflow might track weekly active users, resolution time, correct-routing rate, human-escalation rate, and CSAT. I would establish a baseline before launch and review leading and lagging indicators after release.
I would present the decision in terms of business outcomes, evidence, alternatives considered, trade-offs, risks, and the recommended next step. I would tailor the level of detail to each audience while being explicit about dependencies and what must be deprioritized. I would also identify any low-effort mitigations or future review points so stakeholders leave with clarity rather than just a rejection.

Position Overview
GoodLeap’s AI Transformation team partners with business units across the company to implement AI tools, training, and custom solutions, while our Salesforce (SFDC) team builds and maintains the platform that powers sales and operations workflows. We are looking for a Product Manager to own the roadmap across both teams — driving innovation through cutting-edge automation and AI solutions while ensuring our Salesforce platform evolves with the business.
Your primary objective is to enrich employee and customer experience by introducing new products that leverage generative and agentic AI, ensuring alignment among all relevant stakeholders and contributing to GoodLeap’s reputation as an innovator in AI-powered financial technology. You will flex between long-term product strategy and day-to-day execution across two engineering teams.

Gain a deep understanding of the AI landscape and internal user needs; leverage that knowledge to prioritize new AI products, Salesforce enhancements, and automation opportunities that drive engagement, satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Own all aspects of product development for both teams: discovery, requirements, feature prioritization, backlog management, and delivery. Coordinate go-to-market and adoption activities with business units. Ensure Salesforce platform work and AI initiatives are sequenced coherently and stakeholder expectations are managed.
- Partner with business units, Legal, Security, and Compliance (including AI governance processes) and Salesforce stakeholders in sales and operations to promote adoption of new products and features, and to identify new opportunities that drive growth.
- Define and analyze key product metrics; use data to make informed decisions and continuously improve performance. Regularly provide updates to senior leaders, stakeholders, and squad members, tailoring communication to the audience.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Proficient in overseeing AI/ML-based products; skilled at managing intricate data, processing, and analysis tasks to drive business outcomes
- Demonstrated expertise leveraging AI technologies (including LLMs and agentic workflows) to achieve tangible business outcomes, with a proven implementation track record
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform (Sales/Service Cloud, release cycles, admin/configuration concepts) strongly preferred
- Proactive bias to action, prioritizing quick execution in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and deliver scalable solutions that resonate with user needs
- Data-driven excellence: leverages insights to inform iterative product enhancements and maximize impact
- Entrepreneurial spirit — adept at scaling new products from scratch and thriving in ambiguity
- Superior communication skills; able to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to audiences from engineers to executives
