Sample interview questions
I segment accounts by renewal timing, adoption, stakeholder engagement, and expansion potential, then create account plans with measurable growth actions. By tying proposed solutions to customer outcomes and involving the right internal partners early, I have driven renewals while uncovering relevant upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
I begin well before the renewal date by confirming business value, adoption outcomes, decision criteria, and potential risks. I use that understanding to build a clear ROI case, align internal stakeholders on negotiation parameters, address objections directly, and maintain a structured path to signature.
I would first learn the client’s portfolio structure, resident or tenant experience priorities, local marketing challenges, and reputation-management goals. I would then connect SOCi capabilities to practical outcomes across locations, using relevant data and examples to recommend an actionable plan.
I keep CRM opportunity stages, close dates, next steps, stakeholders, risks, and commercial details current after every meaningful interaction. I also use regular account reviews and objective qualification criteria rather than relying on optimism, escalating blockers early when cross-functional help is needed.
When a customer issue involved both adoption and commercial risk, I aligned Customer Success on the success plan, Product on feasible solution options, and Legal on the contractual implications. We presented a unified recommendation to the customer, resolved the issue transparently, and protected the long-term relationship.
