Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining the target profile using factors such as category fit, inventory quality, online presence, geographic market, and likely auction readiness. I would use desk research and CRM data to build a segmented lead list, score prospects by potential value and likelihood to convert, then prioritise outreach based on the score and current team objectives.
I would research the gallery’s artists, inventory, audience, and current online selling approach before writing. My first message would be concise and personalised, explain a relevant Catawiki value proposition, and end with a clear low-friction call to action; I would then use thoughtful follow-ups that add useful context rather than simply repeating the request.
I would track lead volume and quality, outreach activity, contact and reply rates, meetings booked, stage-to-stage conversion, time in stage, proposal conversion, and expected GMV. I would review these metrics by market and segment to identify where messaging, targeting, or follow-up needs improvement.
I would first ask questions to understand the specific concern, such as brand positioning, pricing control, buyer quality, logistics, or auction mechanics. I would then tailor the discussion to that concern using clear information about Catawiki’s curated marketplace, seller partnership model, and relevant examples, while remaining transparent about the process and next steps.
In a strong example, I would explain how I clarified the goal, broke the work into research, execution, and review stages, and created a simple plan with deadlines. I would show that I kept stakeholders informed, used feedback and data to adapt my approach, and documented the outcome and recommendations even if the original result required iteration.
