Sample interview questions
I would first verify the order status, sample receipt, and any outstanding documentation in the relevant systems. I would provide the physician with a clear and factual update, explain any actionable next steps, coordinate internally to resolve blockers, and document the interaction and follow-up commitment.
I would identify the missing data or documentation, contact the appropriate client contact with a concise explanation of what is needed, and make it easy for them to respond. I would track the request in Salesforce, follow up according to the required timeline, and work with internal teams to prevent unnecessary delays once the information is received.
I would listen carefully, acknowledge the concern, gather the relevant facts, and identify the root cause before proposing a resolution. I would keep the customer informed throughout the process, involve the right internal stakeholders promptly, and document the outcome and any prevention steps.
I prioritize based on clinical or customer impact, time sensitivity, and dependencies that could delay testing or results. I would address urgent patient-care or order-blocking issues first, communicate realistic response times to other requesters, and use task tracking and CRM notes to ensure no follow-up is missed.
I would use plain language, focus first on the person’s specific question, and break the workflow into simple steps such as order submission, sample requirements, processing, and result delivery. I would avoid unnecessary jargon, confirm understanding, and provide written follow-up resources when appropriate.
