Sample interview questions
Describe a reseller or channel program you built from the ground up.

I would outline how I defined the ideal partner profile, built a target list, recruited initial partners, created onboarding and enablement materials, and established metrics for activation, pipeline, revenue, and retention. I would quantify outcomes such as active partners, sourced pipeline, or revenue contribution.

How would you prioritize potential partners for Storyly in a new European market?

I would assess customer overlap, mobile-marketing relevance, market reach, sales capability, technical fit, and willingness to invest in joint go-to-market activity. I would begin with a focused set of high-fit partners, validate demand quickly, and expand based on activation and pipeline results.

How do you ensure newly signed partners become productive rather than remaining inactive?

I would use a structured activation plan with product certification, positioning and demo training, joint account mapping, early campaign support, and scheduled pipeline reviews. Clear milestones and shared targets make it possible to identify blockers early and concentrate support where it will produce revenue.

Tell us how you have worked with product or engineering teams on a technical partnership.

I would explain the customer problem and joint value proposition first, then align stakeholders on integration scope, technical ownership, timelines, and launch criteria. I would keep commercial and product teams aligned through documented requirements, regular checkpoints, and a coordinated launch plan.

What metrics would you use to evaluate the health of a partner channel?

I would track recruited versus activated partners, training completion, partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, conversion rates, average deal size, time to first opportunity, revenue, renewal performance, and engagement in joint marketing. These measures show both near-term productivity and long-term channel quality.
