Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining the audience, lifecycle stage, business objective, entry and exit criteria, and success metrics. I would build modular content and workflows, apply appropriate scoring and suppression rules, test paths and rendering, then monitor engagement, conversion, and downstream pipeline impact for iterative optimization.
I would validate the routing rules, field mappings, sync status, campaign membership logic, assignment criteria, and any workflow processing delays. I would use sample lead records and activity logs to isolate the failure point, correct the logic with the Salesforce team, and document monitoring checks to prevent recurrence.
I use a documented QA checklist covering audience criteria, suppression lists, personalization tokens, links, UTM parameters, sender settings, unsubscribe behavior, responsive rendering, and automation triggers. I also run internal test sends and verify campaign tracking and reporting before release.
I would measure delivery, engagement, conversion, lead progression, sourced or influenced pipeline, and attribution outcomes against the program objective. I would segment results by audience and channel, identify drop-off points, and use findings to refine content, cadence, targeting, and workflow logic.
AI can help classify and enrich leads, identify audience segments, summarize campaign performance, generate test variations, and flag anomalies in data or workflow behavior. I would introduce it with clear governance, human review, measurable success criteria, and validation that outputs improve accuracy rather than creating unnecessary automation risk.

You have a detail-oriented mindset and take pride in building programs that are accurate, scalable, and reliable.
You enjoy troubleshooting problems, digging into data, and figuring out why something isn’t working, then finding a better way to do it.
You’re curious about new technology and excited to experiment with AI and automation to improve how marketing teams work.
We value people who are collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across teams in a fast-moving environment.
At a minimum, you need to have:

Experience with Salesforce, including working with leads, contacts, campaigns, and reporting, and an understanding of how marketing automation and CRM systems work together.
Experience managing marketing programs such as email campaigns, nurtures, webinars, events, or other digital programs from setup through execution and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of marketing data, attribution, and funnel management.
Basic HTML/CSS skills and a high level of attention to detail, particularly when building and QAing customer-facing marketing experiences.
