Sample interview questions
How would you structure onboarding for a dental practice that is new to intraoral scanning?

I would begin by assessing the team’s current workflow and confidence level, then tailor training around core scanning technique, ordering steps, and common clinical scenarios. I would combine demonstration, hands-on practice, and clear reference materials, then schedule follow-up checkpoints to reinforce learning and address early issues.

What would you do if a practice had consistently poor scan quality after launch?

I would review the scans to identify recurring issues, such as capture technique, preparation, soft-tissue management, or workflow steps. I would provide specific, supportive feedback, arrange focused coaching, and monitor subsequent cases to confirm improvement while keeping the team encouraged.

How do you make technical training engaging for different roles within a dental practice?

I connect each feature to the practical outcome that matters to that audience. For clinicians, I focus on clinical quality and efficiency; for coordinators, I emphasize ordering and case tracking; and for practice leaders, I explain adoption milestones and operational value.

Describe how you would manage several practice launches at the same time.

I would maintain a structured launch plan for each practice with milestones, training dates, follow-up actions, risks, and ownership. I would prioritize time-sensitive customer needs, communicate status proactively, and use consistent documentation so cross-functional partners have visibility.

How would you encourage a hesitant practice team to adopt a new digital workflow?

I would first listen to understand the source of hesitation, then simplify the change into manageable steps and demonstrate quick, relevant wins. By being patient, recognizing progress, and following up with targeted support, I would build confidence and make the new workflow feel achievable.
