About this role.
About Us:
Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of assurance and audit practitioners specifically within cybersecurity, privacy, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.
We’re based in San Francisco, CA, but built as a remote-first company that enables you to do your best work from anywhere. We’re backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.
We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other’s growth.
As an early stage start-up employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.
About the Role:
Fieldguide is looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Executive Assistant to support our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Product. In this role, you will ensure both leaders remain focused on top priorities across the Engineer, Product, and Design (EPD) organization by managing schedules, streamlining operations, and anticipating needs in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the CTO and VP of Product, coordinating across key EPD initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to take on a critical support role within a high-growth AI startup transforming the audit & advisory space, offering exposure to EPD strategy and operational execution.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the calendars of the CTO and VP of Product with foresight, balancing competing priorities across both functions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, and cross-functional partners.
Coordinate logistics for travel to customer and prospect visits, and industry events, including booking transportation and stay.
Prioritize and prepare both leaders for meetings, such as preparing materials for customer meetings, pipeline reviews, and QBRs.
Lead logistics and coordination for sales and customer success team meetings and offsites, including scheduling and agenda.
Support planning for cross-functional EPD initiatives between engineering, product, and design teams.
Coordinate company-wide meetings, such as All Hands, including scheduling and logistics.
About You:
5+ years of experience supporting C-suite level or senior leaders in a high-growth or fast-paced environment, ideally within technology startups.
A master of details who can prioritize and execute multiple projects seamlessly.
A proactive and dependable partner, adept at anticipating needs and driving solutions with minimal direction.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Thrives in a rapidly evolving environment, embracing change with flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and collaboration tools such as Slack.
Passionate about automation and proficient in using AI tools to make EA processes more efficient.

Sample interview questions
I begin by understanding each executive’s strategic goals, decision-making rhythms, and non-negotiable commitments. I use clear prioritization criteria, protect focus time, flag conflicts early, and offer practical alternatives so leaders can make informed trade-offs quickly.
I confirm the objective, attendees, agenda, and desired outcomes, then compile relevant context such as account history, prior decisions, metrics, and key risks. I provide a concise briefing in advance and make sure materials, logistics, and follow-up ownership are clear.
In a prior role, I noticed that several critical meetings were being scheduled without adequate preparation time. I created calendar buffers, introduced a briefing checklist, and coordinated pre-reads earlier, which reduced last-minute changes and improved meeting readiness.
I would establish goals, budget, attendee list, timing, venue or virtual platform, and agenda owners first. From there, I would manage travel and logistics, publish a detailed run of show, confirm materials and accessibility needs, and collect feedback afterward to improve future events.
I use approved tools to streamline routine work such as drafting agendas, organizing action items, and creating planning templates. For sensitive information, I follow company security policies, minimize data sharing, verify outputs carefully, and keep confidential material within authorized systems.
