- Hands-on experience with Pix: MED, precautionary blocking, DICT, and fraud markings.
- Knowledge of the main fraud typologies affecting banking and payment rails.

- Strong writing skills for producing opinions, dossiers, and formal communications.
- Bilingual English/Portuguese is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Ensino Superior) minimum.

Sample interview questions
I would validate the alert context, review transaction history and linked accounts, and trace beneficiary relationships through the available chain data. I would document indicators of fraud, assess whether precautionary action is warranted within my authority, and prepare a clear dossier for escalation or final disposition.
I would ensure each request is logged, validated, assigned appropriate priority, and processed within the applicable regulatory deadline, including the seven-day merit-analysis period. I would maintain evidence of decisions, communicate with relevant parties, and record required fraud markings or outcomes in DICT.
I compare the alert against customer profile, transaction behavior, known fraud typologies, device or account signals, beneficiary patterns, and supporting documentation. If the activity has a legitimate explanation and lacks corroborating risk indicators, I document the rationale and feed the result into rule-calibration analysis where appropriate.
I would escalate when the facts indicate possible money laundering, terrorist financing, layering, use of mule accounts, or other suspicious behavior beyond a standard fraud event. The escalation should include an objective chronology, relevant transaction data, account relationships, actions taken, and the specific indicators that require compliance assessment.
I would monitor alert volumes, response times, false-positive rates, blocked amounts, and recovered amounts by rule and typology. These data help identify bottlenecks, prioritize high-risk scenarios, and recommend parameter changes or new rules while maintaining appropriate customer impact and regulatory compliance.
