About the Role

Socket is hiring its first dedicated Revenue Operations Manager. You’ll own and improve our existing HubSpot setup, Clay and the rest of our GTM stack, the data in them, and the territories and target account lists our reps work from. We expect to move to Salesforce, and you’d lead that move. It’s a hands-on role. You’ll work side by side with reps, spot problems and opportunities before anyone asks, and turn them into fixes and automation that drive revenue. You’ll report to our Head of Enablement and work closely with our VP of Sales, sales leaders and IT.

What You’ll Do

  • Spend time with reps to see where the CRM and our process slow them down, and fix it

  • Track conversion at every stage of the funnel, spot where deals stall or where we’re missing a signal, and turn what you find into fixes and automation

  • Own the day-to-day health of HubSpot and the rest of the GTM stack (Clay, Lusha, Orum, Gong): fields, permissions, workflows, integrations and reports

  • Plan and run our expected move from HubSpot to Salesforce, from data mapping through cutover and adoption

  • Set data quality standards, run a deduplication audit every quarter, and keep our Clay enrichment landing in the CRM complete and clean

  • Keep pipeline stages and exit criteria consistent, and build the pipeline and forecast reporting sales leadership uses every week

  • Own target account lists and territories: refresh them each quarter, assign them to reps, and have a list ready for every new hire

  • Keep the rules of engagement current and fix routing problems at the source

  • Support commissions with clean data: crediting, reconciling bookings to the CRM, and answering rep questions

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or GTM Systems at a growing B2B SaaS company

  • Deep hands-on Salesforce admin (flows, custom objects, permissions, integrations and reporting), plus working experience with HubSpot

  • You’ve led a CRM migration or major rebuild, including getting the team to use it

  • You’ve built territories, routing and pipeline reporting that sales leaders used to run their business

  • You’ve worked directly with reps and built things they actually wanted to use

Preferred:

  • You use AI tools (Claude or similar) to automate operational work

  • You’ve been an early RevOps hire

  • Experience with Clay and a commissions tool (CaptivateIQ, Spiff or similar)

Sample interview questions
How would you approach Socket's planned migration from HubSpot to Salesforce?

I would begin with a discovery phase covering business processes, required reporting, data quality, integrations, permissions, and adoption risks. I would define the target data model and migration rules, cleanse and map records, test integrations and workflows in a sandbox, then run a phased cutover with role-specific training and post-launch quality monitoring.

How do you identify and fix bottlenecks in a sales funnel?

I establish consistent stage definitions and exit criteria, then analyze conversion, stage aging, activity levels, source quality, and routing outcomes by segment and rep. I validate the findings with frontline sellers, prioritize the highest-impact issue, and implement measurable process, data, or automation changes.

What practices would you use to maintain high CRM data quality?

I would define ownership, required fields, validation logic, standardized lifecycle definitions, and clear integration rules. I would also monitor duplicate rates and field completeness through dashboards, perform scheduled audits, and address root causes through automation and user training rather than relying only on cleanup.

How would you design territories and target-account assignments for a growing sales organization?

I would start with the ICP, account universe, segment definitions, capacity, historical performance, and coverage model. I would document assignment and exception rules, automate routing where feasible, publish transparent territory records, and review balance and account changes on a regular quarterly cadence.

How do you drive adoption of a new CRM process with sales representatives?

I involve representatives early to understand real workflow constraints and use their feedback to simplify the design. I pair concise enablement with in-context documentation, office hours, and dashboards that make the value visible, while monitoring adoption metrics and iterating quickly on friction points.
