About this role.
Brightline is redefining what pediatric behavioral health care looks like for families across the country, and we’re looking for the Senior Product Manager who will bring that vision to life.
This role owns product direction and delivery for a defined area, starting with clinical operations, internal tools, and partner integrations. You’ll take on important business problems, work closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Operations, Growth, and Data, and be accountable for the outcomes in the area you own.
Why This Role
Every hour a clinician spends working around a clunky process is an hour they aren’t spending with a family. This role starts there: improving how our clinical and operations teams work and how our systems connect with partners, so our teams can serve more families without adding unnecessary work or cost. Over time, your scope may grow to include the member and caregiver experience, engagement, and growth.
We want someone who can figure out which problems are worth solving, make practical tradeoffs, and measure whether the solutions are working. Experience using AI and automation to improve workflows is important, but the outcome matters more than the technology.
Responsibilities
Product Direction and Discovery
Own product direction and delivery for your area, starting with clinical operations, internal tools, and partner integrations
Spend time with clinicians, care teams, members, and operations staff to understand problems before deciding what to build
Set priorities and a clear roadmap, making tradeoffs based on member needs, clinical quality, business value, effort, and risk
Evaluate build versus buy options, vendors, and integrations, and work with partners through launch and ongoing improvement
Delivery and Adoption
Improve workflows and tools that help teams serve more families without adding unnecessary work or cost
Find practical uses for AI, automation, and data, with attention to reliability, privacy, and clinical safety
Work with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Operations, Growth, and Data to deliver products and drive adoption
Communicate decisions and risks clearly and keep partner teams aligned
Measurement and Learning
Define a small set of measures for your area, such as clinician capacity, cost to serve, conversion, engagement, reliability, or member experience, and own the results
Use research, analytics, and feedback to learn what is working and change course when needed
Requirements
5+ years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare or health technology
Track record of owning a product area and its outcomes from problem definition through launch, adoption, and measurement
Hands-on experience with internal tools, operational workflows, or partner and vendor integrations
Strong product discovery skills and sound judgment about what to build, what not to build, and why
Ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes, including growth, clinician productivity, cost, and member experience
Comfort working with data, product analytics, and experimentation
Practical experience using AI or automation to improve a product or workflow
Clear communication, good follow-through, and comfort working in a growing company where priorities can change
Comfort working with data, product analytics, and experimentation, SQL experience is a plus
Hands-on experience with internal tools, operational workflows, or partner and vendor integrations; experience across both internal tools and third-party integrations is preferred

Sample interview questions
I would begin with qualitative research involving clinicians, care teams, and operations staff, then pair those findings with workflow data such as time spent, error rates, throughput, and service delays. I would size the impact on clinician capacity, care quality, cost, and family experience before prioritizing a focused opportunity.
I would assess strategic differentiation, user needs, integration complexity, total cost of ownership, security and privacy requirements, implementation time, and long-term flexibility. A vendor solution is attractive when the capability is standardized and mature, while building is more appropriate when the workflow is core to Brightline's care model or requires unique control.
I would define the specific workflow problem and target metric first, then test whether automation improves speed or quality without creating unacceptable safety, privacy, or reliability risks. I would include human review where appropriate, monitor error patterns, and measure adoption and operational outcomes after launch.
I would select a small balanced set of metrics, such as clinician capacity, time to complete a workflow, error or rework rate, system reliability, cost to serve, user adoption, and satisfaction. Where applicable, I would also track downstream member access, engagement, and care-quality indicators.
I make priorities, decision criteria, ownership, dependencies, and risks visible through a concise roadmap and regular stakeholder communication. When priorities shift, I explain the evidence and tradeoffs, update success measures, and ensure affected teams understand what is changing and why.
