We are looking for a Renewal Marketing Manager to join our Customer Marketing team. Are you keen to join a growing organization and bring forth exciting changes? You will work across Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to put into market new marketing coverage on behalf of Splunk’s Customer Marketing function to help customers be successful with our products and services. The programs you launch will help raise reputation and extend reach across our customer base, and broader industry, to support Splunk’s dedication to world-class customer success. You will help with customer retention by ensuring that customers feel ready and excited to not just renew their Splunk subscriptions but also expand their Splunk usage!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch integrated campaigns that reinforce the value of Splunk and/or guide customers along their renewal and expansion journey with Splunk (e.g. addressing renewal concerns, growing license utilization, expanding to additional use cases).
  • Identify key personas and segmentation based on customer insights, campaign attribution model and analytics.
  • Continuously interview account teams to understand renewal concerns and develop appropriate renewal motions and enablement content to support renewal conversations.
  • Ownership over customer-facing content development and/or work with 3rd parties and agencies to facilitate other aspects of content creation
  • Communicate and coordinate with key business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, manage against key deadlines, review content and communicate impact to business and customers.
  • Report on results, in partnership with Marketing Ops, to understand customer reach, engagement and attribution to customer/business impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Relevant experience in Product Marketing and/or Services Marketing, Customer Success or post-sale function, preferably at a software company.
  • Education / enablement technology background is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability and exposure to multiple GTM functions in a fast-growing software / tech organization for 3+ years.
  • Strategic thinker who can also tackle getting stuff done.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment, bring versatile abilities and have a bias for action.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, and collaborative high-growth environment.

Note: Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $104,000.00 – 143,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $94,400.00 – 129,800.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $84,800.00 – 116,600.00 per year
