In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through development and launch, for several Crunchtime products – Operations Execution, Operational Intelligence, and Learning & Development. You will own the roadmap with a focus on accelerating new customer acquisition, as well as retaining and cross-selling into our customer base. You will leverage strong product instincts while collecting and synthesizing data from many sources to build cross-functional alignment for product and business strategies. You will manage a team of Product Managers and Learning Content Developers, and closely collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to achieve results.

What you’ll do as a Director of Product Management

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and grow a team of product managers.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
  • Market-Centric Development: Ensure product roadmap tightly aligned with prospect and customer needs and feedback.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer advocating within the organization, using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience to ensure seamless product delivery and go-to-market execution.
  • Metrics & KPIs: Define, track and utilize key product metrics and targets to evaluate opportunities, impacts, and usage.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Use insights to inform product direction and differentiation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product progress, milestones, and performance to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling products at all stages – ideation, validation, growth, sustaining and end-of-life.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable presenting to executive, sales and technical audiences. Ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze internal and external customer feedback, product usage data, market trends, etc. to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex customer, process and organizational challenges. Ability to synthesize different perspectives and make recommendations and decisions with incomplete information and ambiguity.
  • Strong experience with Agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Seasoned user of product lifecycle management tools and platforms (eg, Aha!, Confluence, Jira)
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role for a B2B SaaS business application.

Nice to haves

  • Experience balancing growth and EBITDA, ideally at a PE-backed, mid-stage growth company.
