Sample interview questions
In a recent project, I used Midjourney to generate initial concepts for a marketing landing page, which saved time on ideation. I then refined the best concepts in Figma, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. This approach allowed me to explore more creative directions quickly.
I start by understanding the CMS capabilities and limitations, such as available components and responsive behavior. I design with these constraints in mind from the beginning, ensuring that my designs are feasible and maintain consistency across different templates.
I rely on a well-defined style guide and component library. I regularly audit designs against these standards and collaborate with the team to update guidelines as needed. Attention to detail is key, and I use tools like Figma's shared styles to enforce consistency.
One of my favorite projects is a marketing microsite for a product launch. I designed the entire UI in Figma, focusing on a clean layout, strong typography hierarchy, and consistent color usage. I also incorporated user feedback to optimize the call-to-action placement, resulting in higher conversion rates.
I follow design blogs like Dribbble and Awwwards, and I experiment with new AI tools as they emerge. I also participate in online communities and take courses on platforms like Coursera to continuously improve my skills.
