I am particularly drawn to Meta's commitment to renewable energy and innovation in data center operations. I have successfully collaborated with stakeholders across utilities, regulators, and internal teams to deliver reliable power solutions. My expertise in both regulated and deregulated markets will allow me to effectively support Meta's growing infrastructure.

Sample interview questions
I have negotiated multiple PPAs for data centers, focusing on long-term contracts with utilities and independent power producers. I ensure terms align with business capacity needs and include flexibility for renewable energy integration. For example, I secured a 10-year PPA that reduced energy costs by 15% while meeting sustainability targets.
I subscribe to industry publications, attend regulatory hearings, and participate in working groups. I also maintain relationships with regulators and trade associations to anticipate changes. For instance, I proactively adapted to FERC order changes by adjusting our energy procurement strategy.
A data center faced interconnection delays due to grid constraints. I worked with the utility and local transmission operator to negotiate a temporary bridging power arrangement, allowing the data center to operate while permanent upgrades were completed. This saved six months of schedule delays.
I use a multi-criteria analysis evaluating levelized cost, risk factors, and carbon impact. For one project, I proposed a mix of on-site solar and grid power with RECs, achieving a 20% cost reduction while maintaining 99.9% uptime and exceeding renewable goals.
I prioritize transparent communication and mutual benefit. I schedule regular meetings with utility account managers, share load forecasts, and discuss collaborative solutions. This approach has resulted in expedited approvals and preferential rates for our data centers.
