Key Skills

Salesforce RevOps AI Automation Strategic Planning Team Leadership GTM Strategy Stakeholder Management Process Improvement Data Analysis

I am excited to apply for the Senior Manager, GTM Operational Excellence position at Remote. With over 8 years of experience in BizOps and RevOps within high-growth SaaS companies, I have a proven track record of scaling GTM systems and leading teams to drive operational efficiency. My hands-on experience with Salesforce, AI tools, and automation aligns perfectly with your need for an AI-integrated operations strategy.

At my previous role, I led the implementation of an AI-driven ticketing system that improved deflection rates by 40% and reduced manual workloads. I am skilled at conducting root-cause analyses and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions. I thrive in fast-paced, remote environments and am comfortable navigating ambiguity to achieve results.

I am particularly drawn to Remote's mission of making global employment accessible and its commitment to innovation. I look forward to contributing to your GTM Operational Excellence team and helping redefine how your organization operates. Thank you for considering my application.

How would you approach defining and executing a multi-quarter operational roadmap for GTM excellence?
I would start by assessing current pain points through stakeholder interviews and data analysis, then prioritize initiatives based on impact and alignment with revenue goals. I would break the roadmap into phases: immediate fixes, AI-driven automation, and systemic process redesign, with clear KPIs and checkpoints for each phase.
Describe a time you used AI or automation to solve a complex operational problem.
In my previous role, I led the implementation of an AI chatbot for sales support. The chatbot handled routine queries, reducing ticket volume by 30% and freeing up the team for higher-value tasks. I worked closely with engineering to tune the model and integrated it with our CRM for seamless data flow.
How do you manage and motivate a team in a fully remote, asynchronous environment?
I believe in setting clear goals and expectations, then trusting the team to execute. I hold regular 1:1s and team syncs, but encourage asynchronous updates via tools like Slack and Notion. I foster a culture of ownership by celebrating wins and learning from failures transparently.
Walk me through how you would conduct a root-cause analysis for a recurring issue in lead routing.
I would gather data on the issue, such as conversion rates and lead sources, then map the end-to-end process. Using techniques like the '5 Whys' or fishbone diagrams, I would identify underlying causes, such as faulty rules in Salesforce or inadequate data quality. I would then quantify the impact and propose a systemic fix, testing it in a sandbox before full rollout.
How would you align GTM operational initiatives with executive stakeholders across different departments?
I would first understand each stakeholder's priorities and pain points through one-on-one meetings. Then, I would create a shared framework to evaluate initiatives, linking them to metrics like revenue growth or customer satisfaction. Regular steering committee updates and transparent reporting would build trust and ensure alignment.

What this job can offer you

As the Senior Manager, GTM Operational Excellence, you will architect and lead the future of how our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization operates. In this role, you aren’t just managing processes—you are redefining them.

At Remote, AI handles our operational floor (ticket resolution, knowledge retrieval, routine fixes). Your mission is to lead a high-performing team focused on the operational ceiling: identifying root causes of friction, designing enterprise-grade systemic fixes, and partnering deeply with executive stakeholders across RevOps, Systems, Data, and Enablement to drive behavioral changes that scale. You will have a seat at the table in shaping our AI-integrated operations strategy.

What you bring

  • Experience: Deep experience in BizOps, Strategy & Operations, or RevOps within a fast-growing SaaS environment, with at least 2–3 years of experience successfully managing and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Scale Mindset: A proven track record of building, scaling, and maturing GTM systems and processes from mid-stage growth through enterprise scale.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep working knowledge of Salesforce and complex GTM tech stacks (e.g., Enterprise CPQ, automated lead routing, complex compensation tooling).
  • AI & Automation Fluent: A strong builder’s mindset with hands-on experience leveraging AI tools, LLMs, and automation workflows to optimize business operations. You view AI as a core operational lever, not a buzzword.
  • Leadership Persona: You operate with an executive-level “the buck stops here” mentality. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving alignment across matrixed organizations, and taking full accountability for global outcomes.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex operational challenges into clear, actionable executive narratives.
  • Remote Work: Prior experience working in a globally distributed, asynchronous environment is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Operational Roadmap: Define and execute the multi-quarter strategy and vision for GTM Operational Excellence, aligning it with Remote’s overarching growth and revenue goals.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team of operations managers and analysts. Act as a mentor and coach, fostering a culture of extreme ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary strategic partner to VP and C-level leaders across GTM, Systems, Product, and Finance to align operational initiatives with business priorities.

AI & Systems Transformation

  • AI-Driven Architecture: Oversee the strategy for Remote’s AI ticketing layer, automated knowledge bases, and AI agent tuning. Ensure our AI tech stack is optimized to maximize deflection rates and streamline GTM workflows.
  • Systemic Problem Solving: Move beyond symptom management. Lead deep root-cause analyses on complex enterprise-level operational issues and collaborate with Systems/Engineering teams to ship scalable, permanent fixes.
  • Incident Command & Post-Mortems: Own the post-mortem process for major operational incidents, translating systemic vulnerabilities into robust, future-proof infrastructure improvements.

Enterprise Change Management & Governance

  • Global Change Frameworks: Establish and mature Remote’s global change management framework. Ensure high adoption rates for new GTM programs through comprehensive communication strategies, enablement alignment, and executive buy-in.
  • Metrics & Business Impact: Own the KPIs that define operational health. Track, analyze, and present executive-level reports on core metrics including ticket volume reduction, AI deflection rates, cost-to-serve, mean time to resolution (MTTR), and change adoption velocity.

  • You’ll report to: Director, Sales Operations
