Cover letter sample
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Ecosystem Researcher position at Mantle. With over three years of experience in the crypto and Web3 space, I have developed a deep understanding of emerging narratives such as RWA tokenization and prediction markets. My background includes conducting trend research and producing content for crypto-native audiences, as well as actively participating in offline events and community building.
I am particularly drawn to Mantle’s mission to expand its presence in the Americas and would love to contribute by leveraging my network of founders, builders, and researchers. I am comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and am skilled at translating complex trends into actionable insights. I look forward to the opportunity to help grow Mantle’s ecosystem through research and offline activation.
Sample interview questions
I follow key thought leaders on Twitter and Discord, subscribe to newsletters like The Block and DeFi Pulse, and attend industry conferences and meetups. I also use tools like Dune Analytics and Messari to track on-chain data and identify patterns early.
At a recent Ethereum conference, I met a founder building a prediction market platform. After several follow-up conversations over coffee and online, I introduced them to my network's venture partners, which led to a successful partnership and pilot integration with our ecosystem.
I would start by identifying the key players and protocols in the RWA space, analyzing on-chain metrics and market cap trends, and then interviewing project teams. From there, I would distill the findings into a concise report or thread that highlights opportunities and risks, tailored to Mantle's ecosystem and audiences.
I begin each week by aligning with team goals and identifying high-impact areas based on current narratives and event schedules. I use a kanban board to track research, outreach, and content tasks, and I regularly communicate progress via async updates. I also block time for deep research and proactive networking.
For developers, I focus on technical details and integration possibilities. For institutional partners, I emphasize market trends, scalability, and compliance. For community members, I use simpler language and storytelling to highlight benefits and participation opportunities. I always consider the audience's baseline knowledge and interests.
