Sample interview questions
How have you built an enablement strategy that improved revenue-team performance?

I start with performance data, frontline feedback, and leadership priorities to identify the highest-value capability gaps. I translate those findings into a phased roadmap covering onboarding, manager reinforcement, content, tools, and measurement. I then track leading indicators such as training adoption and time to productivity alongside business outcomes such as conversion, retention, and expansion.

How would you measure the effectiveness of a new sales methodology or playbook?

I would define the intended behavior changes and baseline metrics before launch, then monitor adoption through CRM usage, manager observations, and learner assessments. I would connect those leading indicators to outcomes such as stage conversion, cycle time, win rate, and account growth. Qualitative feedback from sellers, managers, and clients would help refine the program rather than relying solely on completion rates.

Describe your approach to onboarding Sales and Client Strategy teams. What would a strong program include?

A strong program is role-based, sequenced, and tied to real job outputs rather than content consumption alone. I would include company and market context, customer-lifecycle knowledge, product or service positioning, sales methodology, systems training, certification, manager coaching, and a 30-60-90-day reinforcement plan. Time to first productive activity and early performance milestones would be core measures of success.

How do you gain alignment when Revenue, Marketing, and Operations have different priorities?

I establish a shared problem statement grounded in customer and business data, clarify decision rights, and identify the outcomes each function needs. I use working sessions to surface tradeoffs early and publish a clear roadmap, ownership model, and communication cadence. This creates transparency while keeping decisions focused on the highest-impact revenue outcomes.

Tell us about a change-management initiative involving new processes or technology. How did you drive adoption?

I segment stakeholders by impact and readiness, involve representative end users during design, and equip managers with practical reinforcement tools. The rollout includes concise messaging on why the change matters, workflow-specific training, office hours, and feedback loops. I track adoption in the relevant systems, address friction quickly, and share early wins to reinforce the new behavior.
