Sample interview questions
I start with clear ICP segmentation and account prioritization, then build focused prospect lists using relevant triggers such as growth, product launches, geographic expansion, or payment complexity. I use personalized sequences across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video, measure conversion by stage, and regularly refine messaging based on response and meeting-quality data.
I would research its products, target markets, current checkout experience, and signs of international expansion. My outreach would connect likely challenges—such as local payment methods, tax compliance, fraud, or currency complexity—to FastSpring’s ability to manage commerce operations, and I would use discovery questions rather than assumptions to validate the problem.
I establish a shared account plan that defines priority personas, business hypotheses, messaging themes, outreach ownership, and meeting qualification criteria. I provide AEs with concise research notes and engagement history, then use feedback from meetings and opportunities to improve targeting and identify additional stakeholders.
I focus first on business outcomes, such as reducing implementation friction, improving the customer purchase experience, or scaling into new markets. I use plain language and ask what systems are involved, then adapt the technical depth to the audience while involving technical stakeholders when deeper validation is needed.
I treat low response rates as a signal to inspect the process rather than simply increase volume. I review account quality, persona fit, timing, channel mix, and message relevance; test a small number of controlled changes; and maintain disciplined activity and follow-up habits while tracking results in Salesforce.
