Sample interview questions
How do you build a targeted outbound list for a new market segment?

I begin by defining the ideal customer profile, including company size, industry, likely business triggers, technology environment, and buyer personas. I then research accounts using reliable data sources, prioritize them by fit and intent signals, and validate the relevant decision-makers before launching personalized outreach sequences.

How would you explain Able's AI-related value to a prospect without overpromising?

I would focus on discovery rather than broad claims, asking where software delivery, operations, or customer experiences create friction. I would position Able as a technology partner that applies AI thoughtfully across the development lifecycle, then connect the conversation to specific business outcomes and involve technical stakeholders when deeper expertise is needed.

What metrics would you use to evaluate an outbound campaign?

I would monitor deliverability, open and reply rates, positive reply rate, calls connected, meetings booked, meeting quality, conversion to qualified opportunity, and pipeline created. I would segment results by persona, industry, message, and channel so that I can identify which combinations produce meaningful conversations rather than only high activity volume.

Describe how you handle rejection or a low-performing outreach sequence.

I treat rejection as market feedback and review whether the account selection, persona, timing, message relevance, call to action, or channel mix needs adjustment. I test one or two variables at a time, document results in the CRM, and continue following up professionally when there is a credible reason to believe the prospect may have a future need.

How do you ensure a sales handoff results in a productive first meeting?

Before scheduling, I confirm the prospect's role, current situation, business challenge, urgency, stakeholders, and reason for taking the conversation. I document that context clearly in the CRM and brief the sales leader on the prospect's priorities, outreach history, and any relevant AI or technology use cases.

Back in 2012, we were a group of engineers and designers who decided we wanted to build things, so we did. Able started as an engineering and product hub building for a portfolio of early-stage startups. We built many relationships while developing products that were thoughtful, effective, and genuinely useful. But, since then, we’ve grown… and so has our ambition.

Now, we’re entering our next chapter, defined by applied AI. AI is a powerful force in the end-to-end software development cycle, and we’re creating practices that allow us to deliver software fast and more effectively than traditional approaches, creating meaningful value for our partners. Today, our builder mindset is driving us to become an AI-native organization across every function. We’re still evolving, and that’s part of the opportunity. If you want to build, learn, and tackle challenges alongside an ambitious team, let’s build together.

This position is 100% remote and open to candidates based in the U.S. or Latin America.
