Sample interview questions
I start by clarifying the learning objective, audience knowledge level, and essential decisions the learner must make. I then storyboard the workflow into small, logically sequenced steps, using visuals, annotations, and narration only where they reduce ambiguity. I validate the draft with the instructional designer or subject-matter expert and revise based on learner and stakeholder feedback.
I establish reusable templates, component libraries, typography and color guidance, motion principles, and production checklists. In Figma, I use shared components and documented patterns so stakeholders can apply the same system consistently. I also conduct quality reviews for branding, accessibility, captions, file naming, and learner usability before publication.
I use AI to accelerate early-stage tasks such as outlining, script refinement, concept exploration, transcription, caption drafting, and prototype creation. I retain human review for instructional accuracy, brand alignment, visual quality, accessibility, and factual validation. The goal is to shorten repetitive work while preserving thoughtful design decisions.
I would combine quantitative signals such as completion rates, engagement, replay points, assessment performance, and support-ticket trends with qualitative learner feedback. I would compare those findings against the intended learning objective and identify moments where learners are confused or disengage. I would then iterate on pacing, sequencing, annotations, or supporting practice activities.
I document the feedback, identify the underlying learner or business need behind each request, and connect recommendations to agreed learning objectives and design standards. When trade-offs are necessary, I present concise options with their effects on clarity, production effort, and consistency. This keeps the discussion evidence-based and helps stakeholders reach a timely decision.
